My question is: Had someone not brought forward the question about the status of the budget that is now past due, the council would still be unaware? It looks like the clerk and Mayor have agendas, and it’s not keeping the council advised, so they can make educated decisions. Without the 2022 budget complete, why was the council not notified immediately? Blame the last clerk all you want, but she’s been gone for seven months. That ship has done sailed. The Mayor’s ( Chief Liar ) accountability is disgusting.
