Are Fromberg constituents to be afforded any imput whatsoever with regard to the choice of their potential new Council Member before ‘Public Comment’ which is listed near the very end of said Agenda, and obviously well after the fact of any discussion on “(swear in council member)”?
Would it be prudent to table any such discussion until the January 8, 2024 meeting when TOF’s two new council members, (elected by acclamation) are seated? If so, why not? Could “(swear in council member)” be construed as a final act done by a lame duck council? Said council seat has been vacant for several months, certainly 3 more weeks shouldn’t pose any problem?

Specificity matters. Additional specifics listed on public Agendas would allow council persons, as well as the public at large, to perform research prior to any meeting, thereby allowing for informed discourse by all parties involved.
