How can you even ask for a raise for a clerk when 2 years worth of budgets are incomplete and she can’t even show up at the meeting where youre sticking your neck out to get her a raise? She won’t perform the one basic task that every clerk before her has done, that’s putting up and taking down the flag? It’s called the government. It’s called respect. The property taxes we just paid this November were spent on how many hours of wages, plus overtime, and for what I ask? Noone even gave a report? I watched the video. I understand the clerk wasn’t there, but that’s no excuse. She should have a written summary filed each month, to document all her tasks as well as keeping the council and public INFORMED. Oh, that’s right, we have to pay for Tim to have friends! He’ll have bragging rights at the City Shop come Monday morning with his chest all puffed out telling the employees and the rest of the boys how he told off this person or set the public straight saying there’d be no more public comment on ANYTHING on the agenda till the VERY END when the council had already deliberated and VOTED with no public imput at all! These videos make me want to throw up but it’s very important they be made public. What arrogance this mayor has for the town’s people.
