Public Comment, the gentleman who makes his statement to the council, is right to be angry! No citizen should ever be treated this way. Defrauding works two ways. Tim and Inc. at it again. Nottingham assured the council, if they voted to pay Tim’s Daughter and friend, FEMA would reimburse the Town. Hasn’t happened, and Nottingham wonders why he’s not trusted? What a lame reply from No Brain Nottingham. I have your name on the list, I just haven’t written it yet. Seventeen months later, the Idiot in Charge is now going to write Thank You cards. What a flipping insult if you couldn’t give a sincere response, keep your mouth shut. Please do us a favor, shut up and stay home.
Robert porch haseman is an angry man. Watch when he throws his glasses on the table when the clerks raise is not immediately given. It’s real obvious he’s a Harley fan. He gets real worked up whenever she’s mentioned.
Here’s what I don’t get. Mayor and council are bashing Lacy and Jay on the tape for leaving at the same time, leaving the town in a lurch. And newest clerks saying she’s begged Lacey to come back. So now Laceys back helping, entering data on the black mountain software when she didn’t submit last year’s budget, didnt reconcile the Town books for months, and lots of the info she imputted is filled w/errors? Plus Lacy gets paid $20 an hour? Plus we’re paying Kristin and the new clerk she’s not asking g for a raise. Timmy says town people s come in to visit so poor clerk can’t git her work done, but she has time to take care of her baby at the office no less, after we paid an unprecedented maternity leave when she only began work by her own statement on the tape on the 3rd week of April? Her 2 month maternity leave ended on October 20th. You do the computations. Just cuz Timmy and Mr. H like her doesn’t mean we hafta foot the bill.
Again agenda was not done correctly. In any town council or school board meetings the old city council members should have been there for the beginning of the meeting to approve payroll, claims, etc. then under new business the new city council members should have been on the agenda first to be sworn in and then the reorganizing of the city council should have taken a place. Mr. Ventling had it correct and the good old mayor just ignored him.
Spot on! Mr. Mayor either doesn’t know or doesn’t care about parliamentary procedure. And mr. attorney sits quietly. I bet he’s had an earful the last couple weeks.
The mayor knows and has been through plenty of training. At one time the town and the school had the same attorney’s and the town council would attend training at the school with the school board each year. Then the flood happened, the mayor lied to the town about the school and his lovely daughter and her friend turned in the school to local newspaper and the Billings Gazette because the school board was “kicking them out of the school.” Well it was decided with the mayor, county commissioner Miller, and the board the they would vacate the gym on a certain date so the school would be able to prepare for the new school year and bring the students back with some normal routine because they need stability after a flood. Sh*t it’s my understanding that the school even gave a later date but Mr. Mayor himself said no they need to get back to being on their own meaning the residents. So now the town and the school is yet divided when they should be working together.
Wow! never knew that. So many shady things that have happened under nottingham. Sunshines the best disinfectant they say. Maybe the new council can bring some light, some honesty and some answers that citizens of the berg deserve. Here’s to hoping.
Please see below about public comment and new item agenda’s this came from a school in carbon county and this applies for all school districts and town council meetings. Instead of chairperson they can rewrite it to say town Mayor. Wake up Tim!

Excellent information! If only mr mayor was interested. Problem is, he thinks he knows it all and that’s why our towns in the all its trouble now. His over inflated ego over runs his limited intelligence and we pay the price again.
