I can hardly stand to watch these. I cant go in person because the mayor shuts down my comments. So im glad these films are online. But it makes me sick what’s happening to our town. How can this town be one hundred seventy thousand in the whole? How do we ever pull out if this? Is fromberg broke. Who can bail us out? I can’t afford a higher water bill. Nobody at that table seemed to upset when that lady gave them the numbers?
The numbers are devastating. Everyone should be concerned. I wonder where the funds will come from, should we have a water main break? Not one mention of reducing overall costs… isn’t that what most businesses do in this situation? Was the council being told there was a funding shortfall before this? Is the Mayor not the party that oversees the budget? How do you look at your residents and say I did my job? Apparently, someone doesn’t care! Last meeting they brought up the fact of over billing. Pretty unbelievable!
