The Barley Field Sale happened as a result of either ignorance, neglect, inability to read, or willful contempt by both the Past and Present Mayor. I am disgusted by the total disregard and disrespect the ex-mayor Rich Anderson, (his wife, who sat on the Zoning Board for years) and the current Mayor (who actually made the motion to sell) have shown this community. Those folks took an oath to uphold the constitution! We entrusted them to act in our best interest! Are they incapable of doing research or simply uninterested in doing so? These people are only interested in their own agenda, not a bright future for Fromberg. And they wonder why we have lost respect? They wonder why we don’t trust them? No wonder the “Varsas Group” was in such a hurry! “Get while the gettin’s good.” Well, they got theirs, and Fromberg took it in the shorts on this deal.
This was the action of a self serving, identity seeking council member Shirley Miller at work. The shame of it all is, we the community suffer the fiscal loss along with the potential opportunities this land held for us as a community. It’s bewildering the lack of remorse this party displays for her egregious actions.
I wish I had never voted for Shirley Miller , BOO ON HER .
