What an utter waste of resources! Time and money! Numerous remaining sand bags on the sidewalk, in front of the Fire Hall and nearby Town Hall, create a hazard for pedestrians; especially the disabled! Those sandbags impede specific designated access points making it even more difficult for disabled persons to conduct their business in Downtown Fromberg! Another liability just waiting to happen.

I do believe that the same people , who’s great idea to fill them should be the same ones to remove them,
I still can’t figure out why they were stored here to begin with???? I do believe down by the barley field or ball field would have been more appropriate, as both places are closer to the river. The place where the flooding will originate first. If they stored them at the barley field, the ties could have been cut the bags emptied and saved. Sand could be used this winter for street sanding, If you have ever carried sand bags in a vehicle you know these tend to deteriorate rather quickly and are not meant to be stored for the long haul,..
