Fromberg needs an audit now! Watch the video. It’ll make ur head spin. Council and mayor seem pretty ho hum. The interim clerk did her job even though the white haired dude in the corner mocked her. Something needs to be done. Like an old time 60 minutes expose’ on this swamp.
The Fact that we are nearly 12 months into this Mayor’s first term in office and these clerical issues are just now coming to light, casts a dismal shadow on oversight and leadership! Fact is that FOR YEARS the council hasn’t been shown reconciled bank balances! Council’s never even asked if any bank statements have been reconciled..worse..when these things are brought to their attention in a detailed 24 point list they seem totally unconcerned and pooh pooh them away. Missy Mayor constantly points out she has had 23 years of city office experience and yet does not ask to see quarterly report filings??? If you’re that absolutely oblivious to job performance at City Hall you should resign! The fact mayor and council choose to sit idly by makes you all ultimately more responsible than the former clerk as you are in positions on power and were duly elected. The fact the Mayor and Nottingham have sat several years on the council and can’t recall a aingle audit??? This speaks poorly of both of you. We the public elected you. We expect much more than this haphazard display..Hell with the water system..drain this swamp..it makes us sick.
It’s apparent Audrey received much of her information from the mayor on city ordinances which in turn made her look like a fool. Shirley Miller might note she is no longer in Wyoming and there are differences in our laws. So, ordinances have become a big concern! And all the while we watch the council flagrantly disregard our existing ordinances. 25% of Mackenzie’s pole barn (11 feet wide×50 linear feet for a total of 550 square feet) was built on a city street! See official Red Lodge Surveying plat! Now it’s a 550 square foot garden shed on a city street because, apparently, the town just felt an overwhelming need to donate that 550 square feet of building space to the Mackenzie’s! Where’s my free gratis garden shed space? Not to mention the business he conducts from his pole barn. Yep. No business license either! Two trailer houses placed in a Residential A Zoning area. Nothing to see here! Ole Mayor Miller states she didn’t approve it. Although it was passed unanimously while she and Nottingham sat on that very same town council. Obviously, she didn’t disapprove!!! She was also on the zoning committee at the time… Not to mention the other ordinances where violations have been made by council members. Good luck with all those stunning decisions you’ve made. Looks likely that ole town of Fromberg will get a series of discrimination law suits….from disgruntled landowners and oh don’t forget all the city employees you continental to bash. And you perform all of this in front of a camera. Barnum and Bailey couldn’t have put on a better circus than this one. Where’s the peanuts for the elephants?
