Contrary to your statement newby clerk – your new-fangled computer along with its Black mountain software is capable of several simple queries which certainly would have allowed a better solution that the one you chose. A 20 year old Quicken program allows for multitudinous queries allowing someone to search and provide reports on any item ever entered into the program. And you Mr Stapleton. Am I to believe you, who is so outspoken at council meetings, would put up with such a billing situation if it effected the bottom line of your commissions at your job? Yes, that’s right! We’re consumers too! Just like the people you sell to every day! Only problem is, we can’t shop around for a better deal or better service. We’re powerless over the choices the council makes. Its especially infuriating when you sit up there and patronize us.
Not all of us are dumb! We are capable of reading our own computer generated report without the aid of the Town Hall clerk! I now understand that the Mayor thinks likewise after watching the Council Meeting. As she treats everyone like they are Special Ed or incapable of having a brain. What I fail to understand is, why they sent out a billing for a bill while totally disregarding it’s specification – which is required in the first place! Let alone when the bill was from nine months ago! Common sense dictates when communicating with public “June’s water bill which is reflected in July’s billing.” Communication skills are key to a worthy outcome and a satisfied customer! Does City Hall Have Satisfied Customers? Do the residents of Fromberg believe their dollar is valued and they are alsovalued? That’s how people in business treat their customers! People in this town government lack those skills and/or mind set! So if you are looking for a different outcome produce something the public wants! p.s. that certainly isn’tridiculous, repetitive erros!
