Is it true two Council Members called off of this meeting in advance? If so, why wasn’t the meeting canceled? Why were the Mayor and the other two Council Members at Town Hall at 7 p.m. and for more than two hours afterward?
Yes, two Councilpersons were not in attendance. There should not have been a budget meeting because there was not a quorum, if any of the Towns business was discussed it was illegal. The meeting should have been canceled, as Brenda knew they would be gone two days beforehand. Any business concerning the budget should have been rescheduled.
