Another LENGTHY Town Hall Closure?

tfa has previously documented several instances where the current clerk has taken extensive time off from her position for a litany of undisclosed reasons. tfa fails to understand how this clerk could possibly have accrued enough vacation and/or sick leave to take yet even more time off per the following notice. tfa requests documentation regarding the current clerk’s payroll records. Amount of sick leave accrued. Amount of sick leave expended. Amount of overtime paid; of which there should be none. The taxpayers of Fromberg foot the bill for her wage and benefit package. They have a right to know! They also have the right to courteous, prompt service at Fromberg Town Hall during their specified hours posted: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a one hour lunch period. Excluding designated holiday closures.

  1. This is out of control with the closures, and the hours that are kept at City Hall! It poses issues that many are not thinking about. One is the hardship for residents! Many closures are not posted until the morning of! This is an undue hardship for the residents who took the day off to conduct business to only find town hall closed! Then to drive by the next night to find the clerk is there after 8 pm! This brings about security issues that I believe are being overlooked! As a governmental agency, one would expect a greater sense of professionalism and customer service!
    Its simply unbelievable what City Hall finds as acceptable!

  2. And isn’t this the whiny baby clerk who complains she’s new, and just cant get her job done? Cry us a river and while you at it go find some other job. Do you ever watch yourself on these videos? I’d be sooo embarrassed if i was you. A 5th grader could do a better job! But you sure have the mayor and council snowed. Snow seasons over. And so sho 7k ld uour job!

    • And Brenda was brain dead if that tells you anything. I would think they would hire some one qualified that did NOT NEED TIME OFF AND TRAINING ON OUR DIME! Im sure the mayor is well prepared to defend this with at least a 1000 reasons. You know city hall people have lives., we don’t. At least not in the berg.

  3. Unbelievable, who in the hell is running this Sh#* Show? Obviously the party in charge has no business skills, no administrative oversight, no knowledge of the communities needs and or thoughts. I’m fairly new to the community, but I have never seen anything like this in the ten communities I’ve resided in before. I would like to sugar coat this and call it unique but that would be a hard sell! It’s called incompetent and incapable at filling the position! Those with brains recognize their short falls and step aside for the betterment of their community… Apparently, we have no brains running this show!

  4. At a very MINIMUM… Wouldn’t you think a phone number to call for Emergencies during this week of closure should have been posted? There has to be someone in town responsible for for handling emergency situations that could arise for the taxpaying citizens in Fromberg. If it’s the Mayor, then post her name & contact#, if it’s someone else, then post their name and contact number, but don’t simply ignore that responsibility.

    • I agree wholeheartedly with KT! Simply because a clerk goes on an unplanned vacation doesn’t mean all the residents of Fromberg should be left in the lurch.

  5. Point well taken, although considering who we have in charge of the Town of Fromberg we are all left in the lurch!
