“Perkins Alley” was one of only two existing ingress and egress point for the long time previously platted Weppler Addition to Fromberg, Montana. The closure of “Perkins Alley” thwarted further potential growth in the Town of Fromberg, Montana per the following documentation.

I find it very disturbing that the powers that be cannot respond to all of the issues brought up on this site. This is all being looked at to see what the mob is up to. But is there ever a reply? Why can’t a response to explain or justify the issues be made? Perkins alley, the ridiculous barley field sale, the McKenzie fiasco, the latest paving deal,, curb stops, fire hydrants, and the list just keeps growing! What about the audit? No answers just more un answered questions. I agree with you Scott no one wants a to be questioned let alone answer. Why is that????? I really don’t think there are any justifiable let alone rational explanations or they would be spewing them out!!!!
How many months have gone by since they were first made aware of the illegality of the Perkins land transfer, yet all they do is talk about doing something?
For me, I started out thinking that this was a Council who was duped into voting for this. As time has passed it has changed to become a Council who is complicit in it.
If they had been duped, I’d give them forgiveness, but their defiance in fixing the mess leaves me with only one conclusion- complicity.
At the 11/4 Council Meeting, our Mayor claimed to have spoken to “several lawyers” about it and they all say it’s a personal dispute between two neighbors? What about the indisputable FACT that what was done, was done ILLEGALLY?
They have talked at length about the access for the garbage company- completely sidestepping the issue! We really don’t care about where those folks get their trash picked up- THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE!
I am in complete agreement with Nunya. Additionally, any liability occurring on “Perkin’s Alley” will automatically be attributed to Jim Perkins etal. Accidents with garbage trucks. Inability of ambulances to get thru to a back residence in the event of a snow storm. And any myriad of other unforeseen eventualities. If I were Perkins I would quit claim any interest I had in that property back to the Town of Fromberg immediately. Perkins obviously feels however he is entitled to that property. Both instances occurred when he was President of the town council and could be thus construed as “quid pro quo”. Additionally, I now also request outside my door garbage service, as the town has now set a precedence for it. One for all. And all for one.
