  1. What? The TOF took them down? A friend of mine lives near one of the intersections where the sign was removed and saw the stop sign carried off by a woman. He said it did not look like a town employee that picked up the sign. Why does the TOF say they took them down, when they already decided to put them up? Isn’t that a waste of time and money?

    • As the Town Council (or at least some) were not aware of the removal, I cannot say who took them down. We voted a long time ago to put them in, because there was A complaint about traffic and skateboarders going down the street too fast. There should have been a vote by the Council to remove them. I understand that one of the signs was hit by a car and knocked down. I agree , it is a waste of time and money. If more people were interested in how the Town really operates and takes some time to go over the Vendor Actuals ( detailed expenses), you may have quite a few questions concerning your question about waste. I encourage everyone to attend the meetings, ask questions, look at expenses and revenue, voice your opinion. If you can’t make it to meetings, please view the videos on this site. It was set up specifically for people to view, hear the truth and voice their opinions. I voice my opinions a LOT at meetings, they don’t like it get a very long and smooth explanation. Polished political rhetoric does not impress me.
