Freeman hasn’t been a very effective town attorney as far as I’m concerned. Mackenzie wuldnt have even happened if she’d been on the ball. She’s not very proactive. Not too brite for a lawyer either. Did Freeman resign from bridger and joliet too? Or just problem town Fromberg? Even when she resigns she’s still bound to the legal counsel she gave. Sorry Hope. Ur not off the hook. Yiur conduct is governed by the Law Review Board of Montana. You can’t just skulk off. Y’ll go down with the Fromberg Five.
I’m questioning several items. Why was it Freeman’s letter of resignation was conveniently not read? The Mayor loves too run her mouth on the efficacy of the Town Clerk and yet correspondence is not included their meetings packets nor listed on the agenda. Is the attorney afraid we’re stuck with Killer Miller for four more years and not a chance in hell of digging ourselves out of litigation till the end of time? I’m questioning if Freeman resigned from her other contract positions? This is going to be costly, where in the budget do they plan on pulling financing from for massive advertising? Not to mention attorneys talk. I’m having a hard time envisioning someone bright wanting to represent stupidity at a all time high… I’m betting we have not filled the position by December.
