For heaven’s sake! That’s 2.5 MONTHS! And CHARGED no less! Fiscally responsible? We think not! That is an EXPENSIVE 2 column ad, not a general run of the mill “help wanted” ad. No mention at last Council Meeting of such an extended job advertisement posting. Is their no level of fiscal restraint or common sense practiced by the current administration in Fromberg?
Please note advertisement below in the 9-21-2017 Carbon County News issue:

The Carbon County News classified open rate is $14.00 per column inch. Two column by two inch advertisement (size of ad previously shown) costs $56.00 per insertion. $56.00 at 10 weeks is $560. And this AFTER having previously advertised the SAME job with the exact SAME advertisement for at least 2 weeks prior; obviously with no response. GRAND TOTAL: $672? Folks, thats A LOT of money! Why not at least change up the ad or perhaps go with typical classified help wanted ad? Again, why is said Job Advertisement not posted at Fromberg Town Hall and on the Town’s Official Web Page at http://fromberg-mt.gov/
See previous blog post of August 19, 2017 “Who Composed this Job Advertisement?” for further details.
The Town Attorney had a contract that ended in September. The Council was informed at the meeting Monday, Oct 2, that she had agreed to continue her work for the Town until we find another Attorney. She is still representing Joliet and Bridger.
