  1. Can anyone explain to me how it is that we can’t afford to upgrade our sewer and water lines, fix our streets, or even send our Clerk to some much needed training, yet we really need a new City Hall?

And while you’re at it, please explain what duties the Mayor has in the Audit process? She told Mr Feller that they are just wayyyy too busy to take care of something as trivial as theft of an alley by an elected official! She has had 6 months to do something about it, but so far she has shown ZERO interest in making things right!
I think it’s past time for the Citizens of to let Miller and the entire Council know that we demand action.
How many Fromberg residents actually know about Perkins stealing that alley? It would be bad if it was just some average Joe Citizen, but this guy was a (apparently) trusted, duly elected official who abused his position to steal from the citizens of Fromberg, yet our Mayor and Council seem completely ok with it?!

Every citizen of this town needs to know what happened, along with the reaction (or lack of action) on the part of this Mayor and Council in making it right.

Maybe a recall election is in order? Would that wake them up?

    • Mr. Perkins was the President of the Fromberg Town Council when each half of that alley was quit claimed to him separately. Simple quid pro quo. Obviously indefensible, hence Mayor Miller’s stonewalling. A new Town Hall to be built or purchased? From where would such funding be derived? First step. Reconfigure your current inefficient building usage. Second step. Institute daily documented procedures to ensure exactly when the Town Clerk is present at Town Hall and what specific tasks she accomplishes each day. Efficient use of space and manpower is a prerequisite to any potential discussion of a new Town Hall.

  2. Ridiculous. There’s only time to address two issues for the mayor. As she is way too busy! Then why is the Mayor doing the board for the flood plain? If you are too incompetent Mayor Miller resign! As far as nothing is getting posted on the webpage unless we are going to pay the clerk a ton of overtime isn’t that what we already do? She’s there constantly, I’ve driven by when she was still there at midnight! I’m sure our clerk’s office is the only one in the state of Montana who runs like this! It’s rather interesting Mr Nottingham would oppose bills when Ventling had overtime but this clerk is your golden child! In all actuality, our previous Mayor was the one who posted for the website. Are you telling me that you, Mayor Miller, who knows everything and is quite proud to flaunt how important your knowledge is, are incapable of posting on the town website? You sure know how to flap your yap on Facebook! New Town Hall building? Really? When we have far more pressing matters!!!`

  3. This land theft isn’t a big deal as Mayor Miller and Council Nottingham aid in the theft of this land by voting to approve. So mark my words, they can’t wait to sweep it under the rug.

  4. It’s interesting. Public Comment has become a place that the City Council now places its old business. The MORON of a Mayor and her incompetent, over payed side kick, the incompetent clerk, are incapable of a logistical agenda. Pretty simple. The audit, MMIA insurance claim filed for the school, the pending court case discussion and the detention center should have all been listed under old business. That is if someone knew their job! But the clerk sure can make sure her upcoming training is prominently placed on the agenda and not under her report. Funny, the Mayor boasts of a ninety seven percent approval for the Detention Center without giving facts. How many individuals signed? fifty a hundred? The next question is this: like the last petition, did people sign for other individuals that were not present? Yes, that did take place. My friend signed for two individuals that were not present to sign. And, did all these signers even live in or own property in Fromberg? And why not post the results in public if you’re the Mayor and you’re so proud of your petition?
