The reason is proximity. One would have to be blind not to see the daily flagrant dis-regard shown by Town employees and the misuse of our community owned time and materials. The weather’s fine, come sit a spell and watch the show.
The big tent has an overcapacity in crowd attendance . But you are right, all have blinders
Robert’s rules of order? I think not! Where was the bouncer?
Roberts rules of order is a foreign word/concept
Recently, I have been excoriated for even suggesting cutting the budget, not only in job hours but in wasted time traveling out of town, because someone needed a print cartridge…now. Others going on break in Bridger (15 minute break as mandated by law). It takes 7 minutes to drive to Bridger, seven minutes back, which IS the break. Trips out of town to buy supplies. Take an inventory, make a list of what is needed, order it, receive it, ….done. Unnecessary trips to Billings for toilet paper and towels, etc. Wasted time, wasted gas and wasted wages. I have gone over the expenditure vouchers line by line and found that we waste a lot of time, money and gas. Where does it end??? Why the community is not screaming and yelling is beyond me. I live on a budget, that is the least I can expect our town to do.
