Is it Illegal for Fromberg Town Hall to Remain Closed Indefinitely?

tfa queries how the June 2020 “Bills” were paid without a meeting during which the Council could approve them? Is the Town of Fromberg without police protection? 7.13.2020 Agenda Item #8a (pictured below) was in regard to the renewal of the “Carbon County Sheriff’s Contract” which was obviously never ratified, as the meeting was postponed. A part-time position with the PWD has obviously been filled without benefit of a public interview. How then, has all this “business” been conducted without any public input? Have “secret meetings” been held? When will the public at large be granted any sort of access to Fromberg Town Hall? Via Drive Up or through some sort of electronic means? TOF has not set up specific parameters giving the public any access to Town Hall. The populace at large has a RIGHT to access the information held within Fromberg Town Hall!

  1. Gee whillikers. How bouts de buget? July’s toast. Oct 1. Ain’t far away. Same old sh*t at city hallowed, but it sure as hell ain’t that! Aint no reverence nowhere in dat building!! covid doan cova all syns ya morrons!

      • Yu’d be rite! Neva thinkd bout dat! Lets be due dat diz-incorprat ting! by by 4U citze halle! by by 4U clerky!

  2. Just fyi the “part time” position has not been filled. It is a temporary position until a meeting with interview can be held. Until then anyone can still apply for the part time position so you should get your facts straight before posting these “facts”

    • I’ve read a lot of things in here since I was aware of this site, that are not even correct whatsoever where are you getting the facts to back these accusations up. How bout try talking to the employees? They are pretty straight forward good or bad. Don’t just make stuff up to look good. I know for a 100% that some of these facts are false so investigate first.

      • tfa garners its information from TOF documents as they are provided to the public; in addition to date/time stamped photographs. tfa is prepared to authenticate any and all statements made specifically within this site. The Commennt Section provided is merely that. A place where the public may freely put forth their opinions.
Please post any specific documentation you have with regard to your” facts” and tfa will
        promptly address them. Thanks. admin

The expandable link above lists TOF’s 7.13.2020 “Agenda Item 9. New Busines b. PWD Part-Time Applicant/Lacey Breding”
Said person has been witnessed reporting for work at the city shop. TOF has put forth no further notices in its 3 designated posting areas regarding said Part-Time position. Therefore the populace at large has no idea what the status of the job position you mention is, ie: temporarily filled? And a “temporary hire” is a hire. Unless said governmental position was funded through cash, which in itself would be illegal. tfa does not consider TOF employees spokespersons for the Town of Fromberg; unless duly designated as such.

  3. Funny I talked to a Town employee and was told the position was filled. So who does not have all the facts? If the job was still open would it not be advertised? Apparently Me needs to cross their t’s and dot their i’s. It’s funny any time in the past the Town has advertised to fill a position it’s been posted at the three posting locations… but apparently Me would like to explain why not this time! Or maybe Me doesn’t know what she thinks she does!

  4. If the Town of Fromberg was concerned about mis-information, would not a responsible leader make sure items were posted on Fromberg’s website? Yet nothing has been posted for quite some time. Over a year in fact. The drinking water report is from 2018. Proposed ordinances are from 2019 and have since passed but not been updated at all. I suppose Me could explain the lack of communication! Under ‘News’ is information from 2016 related to the flood plain. I would say this shows just how inept City Hall really is.
