Unless he was granted that authority through another illegally held meeting? Nottingham’s recent activities at Town Hall certainly were not discussed at the 1.4.2021 regularly scheduled Council Meeting. Additionally, the TOF line budget for advertising has been overspent by a large margin.

At 1-4-21 meeting the council president fills in for 30 days until an interim mayor can be appointed by council vote. That said this should have been done months ago when mayor quit coming tho meetings and everyone but the town’s people were aware of what was going on. The council needs to realize that they run the show and not the mayor. Every thing that has gone on is council’s responsibility not the mayor’s. To sit back and let anyone do as they please falls on you not them. It is time for the town’s people to get involved and form committees to look into the issues and take control. I am not excusing the ex-mayor of what has been done but putting the blame where it belongs, the voting council that was elected to run this town!
Her resignation should be on file in the town office for all to see! It should have been viewable to anyone who wanted to see it from the get go. By the way I’m tired of Nottingham’s go along to get along attitude! He was and is Shirley’s minion and is a sheep with a capital S. Sheep for Shirley’s Sh*t. Now he’s campaigning for her old office so he can shovel more sheep sh*t to cover her slimy trails.
