A BIG SHOUT OUT to Danno & Jeri Williams for filling the aforementioned pothole! Glaring condition of pothole had gone unnoticed for more than a year despite several drive overs by esteemed Council Person Jim Perkins. Public Works Director also frequently accesses said alley.

Good Job Jeri and Danno! Thanks!
Our Alley Thanks You!
Well the public works is a bit short handed right now ! For all of you who think things aren’t being done please contact your counsel members who decided to hold off on hiring someone to replace Nate.
The key words to the post were “pot hole unnoticed for over a year”. There have been two people employed in the public works full time prior to May 2017!!! So, I do not believe the present shortage of one employee is responsible for this occurring, nor do I believe it is the fault of the council members who chose to have a budget set in place before hiring a replacement. Instead, I would call that responsible governing of our town, for a change! I would call this inadequate time management prior to May that was not dealt with by management, if you can even call them that. Our town is way too small to warrant not only two full time employs in the public works department, but ones who don’t take initiative or manage time properly. Although, I do believe it would be helpful if there was a part time employee of 20 hours a week during the summer season when the town is the busiest and 10 hours in the winter season. Provided they were not making multiple trips together to Bridger, Billings, etc. If this was to be the case a part time position would be a waste of the town resources, that could go to improving the town and its streets instead. Financially I believe it would best benefit the town to contract the mowing and weed eating out, as this would eliminate payroll tax, work mans comp., and equipment.
