  1. Nice to see meetings real time. Helpful to see the body language along with words spoken. Shows employees have an absent level of respect for constituents.

    • Thank You for your interest and comment. We are , and I should clarify that, ( two councilmembers) trying very hard to bring about accountability of the Town and it’s employees. In the past, the employees have not attended the budget sessions. But.. as suggestions were made for cuts in the budget, they made sure ( and I am sure, it was at the Mayors request) they attended because the cuts affected them and their budgets.

  2. Employee’s surly demeanor and lack of professional attire are unacceptable immediately before, during or even after any city event where the public could be in attendance.

  3. This current budget will be voted on soon. It will pass simply because two council members (Nottingham and Miller) will vote against, as it is and two council members will vote for it, the Mayor will break the tie vote and vote for the budget, without changes. We are spending too much money and it needs accountability. In the words of one employee at the last council meeting ” well at least we aren’t spending more than we took in”, to which councilman Nottingham replied, ” it isn’t the way to run a business”. There are too many projects that have been neglected for a long time and should have been taken care of as needed, not years later. Now we have a mess and a lot needs to be done soon. We have lost our focus, which is the community at large. Ordinances need to be enforced. Downtown for the most part looks like a war zone, although there are several active business’ that are doing a great job on improving that. I must commend the Improvement Committee for many improvements and hard work, along with many volunteers (mostly young people) who have stepped up and offered their help. Two buildings downtown have been sold and the current owners are working very hard to revitalize those buildings and open new business’. This is in part due to the efforts of the committee and some very ambitious and concerned citizens of Fromberg. Kudos to them!!
