NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Town Council of the
Town of Bridger, Montana, has
completed its preliminary
annual budget for the fiscal
year 2017-2018.
A copy of the Preliminary
Budget is on file in the office
of the Town Clerk-Treasurer
108 South D Street, Bridger,
Montana, where it may be
examined at any time during
normal business hours. Questions
regarding the budget and
the action to be taken may be
directed to the Town Clerk-
Treasurer in the Town Office at

The Town Council will hold a
public hearing on the Preliminary
Budget on the 22nd day
of August 2017 at 7:00 p.m., in
the Council Chambers at the
Town Office, 108 South D
Street, in Bridger, Montana.
The public hearing for Final
Budget approval will be September
5th at 7:00 p.m.at the
above address. The Council
will answer questions regarding
the budget from any taxpayer
or resident of Bridger
and will hear statements in
support of and objections to the
adoption of the final budget.

Once again, the preliminary budget was pushed through at the council meeting, 11 Sept 2017. Because the last budget workshop did not have a quorum (and it was deemed not necessary to have one, by the Mayor) further discussion on any type of fiscal responsibility, time management and waste , evidently was not in the scope of thought for other councilmembers. As usual, we have in place higher wages, more cost in the form of loans and other expenses, that our budget will be strained by the continuance of needless spending, with no oversight .
