This may be the wrong format for this question, but if we are advocating for a better Fromberg, maybe it is…?
Having noticed on Patriot’s Day (9/11) that my American Flag and pole had been stolen, it has made me curious. Have any of our candidates for town positions stated their positions politically? With our country flooded with liberalism, this is an important question to me. I see one candidate has a flag on their election signs but has anyone actually stated their standing on American values?
The offices in a municipality are non-partisan. We are all patriots and support our country 100%. Stating a political preference shouldn’t come into play.
If having a flag on a political poster matters, fine. But it would be unseemly, to run around waving the flag just to get a vote. If people are really interested in the administration and how it is run for the good of the town, they should look at their qualifications and background and not the show.
It is sad that your flag was stolen, I can’t imagine why someone would do that. Unfortunately, there are people who just can’t resist temptation and don’t think about how it affects others.
Definition of Liberal:
Free, open minded, not prejudiced, favoring individual liberty and political and social reform, unbigoted, unbiased, impartial, free thinker.
Remind anyone of some of the thoughts of our founding fathers???
People respect the Flag, our veterans, first responders, our American values. Yes there are some upstarts that want to trample those things, but they do it for attention mostly. Seems to me that every time someone (mainly politicians) want some sort of personal gain, they wave the flag or wrap themselves in the flag to further an agenda.
Definition of Conservative:
Adverse to rapid change, avoiding extremes, promotes free enterprise and private ownership, allowing only minor changes in traditional ritual, hidebound, conformist, orthodox.
Again , they have the same views of all the items mentioned above. So are they really different? I doubt it, A true conservative or a true liberal are pretty much the same in basic thought. We have always had Liberals and Conservatives, they were called Democrats and Republicans. But due to certain groups putting labels on everyone, it has torn this country apart in many ways. People who listen to the ilk of Bill O’Reilly, Shawn Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Bill Mahr, Michael Moore and Jesse Jackson are drawn into this hateful speech . Shame on them for not thinking for themselves. Seems we are a nation of sheep and have forgotten how to do that.
