The 11.29.2017 Issue of The Carbon County News has the following advertisement in the Classifieds Section. Due to the recent November 2017 Election, The Town of Fromberg will also have a Council Seat Vacancy 1/1/2018. Why isn’t the current Administration being proactive and advertising for “our” Vacancy? They certainly spared no money in advertising for a TOF Attorney.
It was brought up at the meeting last night by Mr. Perkins, so I am supposing that Brenda will post it in the Post Office. But we do need to put it in the paper also. But that can be done later if needed.
Interesting meeting, Town Attorney once again submitted her resignation, Mrs. Anderson resigned from everything and they gave the Mayor a plaque, while stressing that it was given by his “supporters” for all his invaluable work for the town. All in all it was a quiet meeting.
Again, two council members were uninformed of the plaque and other “Thanks ” to people. Mrs. Price was not present. Brenda did have coffee and Christmas cookies out for everyone, which was very nice.
Some long hard work ahead, but I believe in the town and it’s people, so as always we will endeavor to do what is best for the community. Again, let me say, that I will be in the town office twice a week in the afternoon for several hours. So stop by, say hello, encourage us or gripe if you have to.
