Regarding our previous post entitled “TOF 1.8.2018 Council Meeting Agenda posted at mail time on 1.5.2018” and that post’s subsequent comments, we offer the photos below (time and date stamps available upon request).
The Town of Joliet does indeed post their agenda well in advance of their Town Council Meetings. We note Agenda Item “4) Changes to Agenda” which allows for any changes that might occur after the their Agenda is officially posted. They also advertise well in advance with regard to Notices of Public Meetings, even going so far as to put them on the local bank’s electronic reader board. It is noted their Town Clerk works 4 days per week 8:00 am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday. Closed on Friday. Joliet has a somewhat greater population than does Fromberg. We can learn from Towns with similar demographics. We need not recreate the wheel.
