New Administration Sworn in Nearly a Month Ago

Mayor Miller recently commented  “the new administration has only been in off for a short time and “change” is a dirty word right now.”

  1. Yes, the election was on November 7th, but officially our terms started Jan 1st, 2018. You do not just go into an elected office and start making drastic changes. There are many, many things to consider, review and study. The budget being a big part of that, employees another consideration. But most of all you have to work with a lot of people to accomplish your goals. When you go into an elected office with an outgoing mayor, who has elected not to put forth any information on anything having to do with the towns business and previously council members were pretty much left in the dark about certain events, until the actual council meetings. Yes, I have worked with city governments and each city goes about business a little different.
So, until you have actual facts of the job and the work put into it, please do not make assumptions.
