The Pins Are In!

A picture is with 1000 words; so they say! Obvious HUGE Encroachment of MacKenzie Pole Barn on “A Street”, Fromberg, Montana! Fireworks at the next TOF Council Meeting (July 2, 2018)  and not because it’s the 4th of July either! Per tfa’s 6. 8.2018 post, read all about Easements.

  1. The water line comes into the property from the west and is in the middle of first street . Mike found an old irrigation (abandoned) line on the easement, not a water line. Mr. Mackenzie talked to the town attorney about this and her legal opinion is, he can run a line from his shop and tap into the water line on his property and also the sewer line. The town does not have the authority to prevent that, as it is private property. I believe that opinion is available at City Hall.

    • really…caint serm to get nothin else from city hall. nope we ain’t got that. but we sure got lotsa time to smoke ceegarittes.

  2. If this opinion is available at city hall, why is it not posted on the window? Why is it not found on the city web page? In the above statement from Mrs Killer she talks about an old irrigation on easement while a couple lines down she talks about McKenzie hooking up to city services on his property??? Why would he need to do that? He already has water at his residence and the HUGE pole barn building was just a “toy shop”. NO need for water for “toys”! Man I’m confused!!! Mrs Miller you’re so wise could you help us out and explain this??!!

  3. Why is this opinion not posted on the web page?? Why is irrigation on easement??? Yet McKenzie is private property???? So what’s private property? What’s easement?? Mrs Miller could you please explain this???

  4. Now we have an opinion on a building that hasn’t even been granted a variance???? Wow this is scary! Apparently the attorney already knows how the council is voting, so she felt confident enough to authorize water and sewer hook up???? It would be nice if we the people were privy to such info!!!
