We are seeking Campaign Practices clarification regarding Fromberg Mayoral candidate Leza Vargas, who per enclosed documentation, entered into a Buy-Sell Agreement with the Town of Fromberg during the time in which she was running.
The following documentation was provided by Hope Freeman, Fromberg Town Attorney, by an “open records request” made pursuant to “Section 9, of Article II of the Montana Constitution, the ‘public right to know’ provision and all related statutes”. It is scanned in its entirety below.
What? Is this city’s name Vargassville? What is it, King and Queenie Vargas? Don’t forget the the royal father Duke Wayne Vargas. So royalty is exempt from what us mere mortals must do? Vargassville Garden aint worth a poop.

Protocol is non-existent in this whole transaction… Leza ran for Mayor trying to tell the public how much she cared for Fromberg … What the Vargas family really cared about is if this transaction would fatten there pockets not what was in the interest of the town.,,, This is a no brainer as if Vargas had owned the land and the city was purchasing it this transaction never would have happened in the same manner. This action was led by Mayor Rich Anderson and Shirley Miller in turn Jim Perkins and Lula Price followed like sheep.. Funny thing is Tim Nottingham voted no and this explains a lot of the disdain that is displayed at city hall. We were hand fed a bunch of BS on this whole transaction not to mention sold out by two people running for Mayor Leza Vargas and Shirley Miller. How revolting!!!

I’ve never seen such cyber bullying by a website. If that were my name being smeared, you could bet your a$$ I would be seeking legal counsel. More like truth in advertising! not to mention little-miss-vargas filed a complaint against Miller with the Montana Commissioner of Political Practices which was quickly dismissed. VARGAS NEED NOT APPLY!
