TOF has enough current matters of contention without further muddying the waters! Why are Mayor Miller and the Town Attorney so focused on this particular passage? Such intense focus seems unwarranted. Is there some untold motive we are missing? Table Resolution #480 for another month. We’ve never had a growth policy in place; 30 more days won’t make or break Fromberg.
The Mayor is NOT focused on trying to get a growth policy in place. In fact, I really don’t see a solid reason why we need to have it. This was being presented at previous council meetings, the council tabled it, FOR a reason.
Unlike some in town that would like to see this move forward, there is a good reason they would like to see it passed. I am in hopes that our council will research and come to their own conclusions on this matter.
I can not predict the future by any means, but I honestly do not see “rapid growth” for the town Yes, we have a couple of new homes, but most of the transition has been in the form of , one person sells and another purchases an exiting property.
I would like to know where you get such ridiculous information!! Our Town Atty has insisted on adding this Resolution to the agenda. What is the reasoning behind that? Yes, we may have an easier time trying to get grant funding , but that is presumption not fact.
Instead of “assuming” , why don’t you at least try to come to town hall and discuss an issue, instead of taking someones opinion as gospel
So uh duh…Town atty keeps INSISTING on adding this resolution to the agenda You the MAYOR shuld at least know why and be able to ar-tik-u-late the reason and not hide behind the female attorney’s skirt. Curious has the mayor read the growth policy??? When it’s on the agenda 5 times and you control what gets put on the agenda it’s plausible you have an interest in this. It’s not listening to someone’s opinion… Come to town hall are you serious??? It’s torture watching a council meeting and listening to your commentary is the equivalent of nails on a chalk board. So therefore I avoid any unnecessary exposure to the city mud pit!!!
