What is up with City Hall? Rude clerk is there all hours of the day and night. Several people coming and going at odd hours of the night. But nope, we’re closed for Martin Luther King Day. Like that day’s a huge event in downtown Fromberg, Montana. Are we paying this chickie overtime? Hope not. She’s in way over her head. Never thought I’d say this. Bring Back Brenda!
Hilarious! Was in Billings today and talked to a Fromberg resident who noticed the new clerk kept some very long hours. New clerk Jann apparently told this resident it was because Brenda (our former clerk) didn’t do her job… let me start with the fact that verbiage like this should not come out of City Hall. First off it’s unprofessional. Second reason; it holds a number of legal implications. Doesn’t our small town already have more lawsuits than they can possibly handle as it is? Let’s place the blame where it actually belongs. Obviously the Mayor is not competent in over-seeing employees and their duties.
Why is it? City Hall’s closed today due to Martin Luther King Day, while Kristen Sweet’s been there for hours ? How much is the city Fromberg paying her? Is she contract labor too? Why isn’t clerk Jan Christman there as well? Training along side? Elton Kirtley was right. We should have hire a qualified clerk at $18 an hour to begin with. Insanity and Fromberg taxpayers foot the bill.! Talk about taxation without representation? Come on Frombergians. Call and complain!

More subterfuge. Clerky Jan couldn’t and didn’t work her regular 8 to 5 Monday shift while were paying Bridgers town Clerk today? I hope shirley Miller’s held 100% responsible for this and all her other very costly mistakes! Stupidity personified.
Sadly, our Mayor is deficiently lacking sufficient skills in observation and oversight when dealing with employees and their duties. The cold hard fact is I highly doubt she has true knowledge of their duties. If she did, each new employee would receive an outline of specific duties and time-lines in which these duties should be carried out. Example: School Street to be plowed by 7am. Reasoning: Early morning extracurricular activities and safety of all those getting to school. A Mayor should be aware when school is in session. Yes, Fromberg Schools were in session on Martin Luther King Day! The Mayor lacks the understanding of many of our community needs. She probably could’nt tell you what several of our community needs even are! Fromberg’s greatest need is for you to resign. Or better yet City Council vote to remove from office!
