The photographs below proves said vacant lot (aka Fromberg Miscellaneous Tracts, T5S, R23, Section 21, 2-C COS 288 AM) sold via Warranty Deed on April 30.2019 after having only been on the market approximately 10 weeks. Montana does not publicly disclose the dollar amount of real estate property sales. However, tfa is confident that said parcel sold for more than $5,290 per acre!

  1. 10 weeks for a sale! And to an out of stater no less. Vargass Incorporated diddled around for 3 months and got the whole chunk for $52K. Gawd, Aren’t the powers that be ever gonna wake up? Dumb and dumber. Stupid and stupider. Stupid is as stupid does.

  2. This went way way way beyond stupid. It is gross negligence on the part of past and present administrations. But it was the present mayor who made the motion to sell as a council member. So it is the present mayor who is responsible but she does not seem to know the meaning of the word! 10 acres ÷ by 1/4 acre = lots with power, sewer, and water on site. At a minimum 10k per lot = $400,000. Large lots just under 14,000 sq. feet. The whole deal was done so backward and shady it stunk! There were many people that wanted the deal stopped until town people could propose alternative uses. Mayor Anderson ignored everyone and pushed the deal through! Made me wonder what he and the buyer had going. 40 lots! 40 new homes! That would mean growth. Who wants that? Not city hall! People are leavening because the town is dead. Killed by the people who claim to serve us!
