The following news story is provided compliments of the Carbon County News. Vol .99 N.30 – Thursday July 25, 2019, and written by Eleanor Guerrero, CCN Senior Reporter. tfa notes these types of public financial discussions regarding town government never occur in Fromberg, Montana. Let alone the final sentence stating: “The auditor will be at City Hall…to answer questions from the public.”

The bright side is, Red Lodge at least is aware of what they don’t have in their budget… The town of Fromberg doesn’t have a clue. Simply inexcusable, irresponsible and unprofessional! Once again, we the public, are deceived by those who falsely claim to serve us the people.
I noticed the Town of Red Lodge made it possible for the residents to have their questions answered by the auditor. I think this is very thoughtful as well as informative, It shows respect for the citizens and adds clarity for the community as a whole. My guess is if this was to be brought to our Council’s attention you would have a harsh “NO! this is not Red Lodge”. “When we know, you’ll know.”
