Over the last year and a half, items from this grant have come up at practically every council meeting. If I recall right, the party who brought it to the attention of the council was Elton Kirtley. Every time it was brought forward at a meeting, the Mayor was mean-spirited, abusive and a bully! Yet, when the grant writer talks about the report, we find out this is to address twenty fire hydrants not just the three that are talked about in previous meetings. Including a water line that goes under the railroad and highway. I’m quite confused as to how a governmental entity that is to represent us, the people, has been so irresponsible in not producing the actual report after this was first brought to your attention! Instead the Mayor has chosen to make this a three ring circus of debate for more than a year. Really far from true leadership if you ask me! I’m disappointed that the council has failed to call the mayor out on her deplorable behavior!
