tfa asks the following, and awaits a response on all, from the Town of Fromberg.
- Exactly what time did said meeting begin?
- Was said meeting audio and/or visually recorded?
- As evidenced by the following link: TOF “Special Meetings” have historically only had ONE Agenda item, whereas this SPECIAL Agenda had FIVE items. Was TOF’s law firm Felt &Martin aware of this? And, doesn’t this specifically violate TOF ordinances? http://the-fromberg-advocacy.com/5227-2/
- Why isnt the Public Works Department Head position specifically being advertised to ascertain whether a pre-certified applicant might be interested in this position? Is TOF adhering to governmental hiring guidlines? The current part time PWD employee has no certification qualifications whatsoever for either water or sewer.
- If indeed Nate Caton plans to take over Bill Gruel’s Annual July celebratory event, couldn’t that be construed at an ‘illegal meeting’ as certainly Caton, Gruel and Stapleton (Gruel’s brother in law), all 3 current members of the TOF Town Council, have historically attended said event?
- What is the actual Resolution Number for any sale of surplus items? Was a copy thereof posted in all of the 3 designated posting areas? Shouldn’t any such TOF ‘surplus items” for sale be advertised in the Carbon County News; TOF’s paper of record?
- Was the public allowed comment on any of said agenda items? The PUBLIC HAS A RIGHT TO KNOW!
Bet town attorney was not totally informed of any of these issues. Town of Fromberg as usual. Underhanded back door deals!
The irresponsible behavior of not having a virtual meeting is unbelievable. The lack of caring for the health and well being of the community is a disgrace.
Total stupidity, unbelievable incompetence, the lack of responsibility is of the charts… All of this could have and should have been handled at a regular City Hall meeting. What gross negligence!
The former operator of the system, was not licensed either, it’s been over 2 yrs since the last licensed operator worked in TOF. Lots of coverups, lots not being shared with the public.
