The above headline delineates several issues with regard to COVID-19 Pandemic measures, mandated by Carbon County, Montana Public Health Officer: Dr. Bill George. What is TOF’s proposal for holding a mandated socially distanced meeting (regardless of facial mask usage) within Fromberg’s regular Council Meeting area, which by even normal standards is inordinately small?
Every other incorporated town within Carbon County, MT. manages to adhere to said mandates. Why not Fromberg?
Is it ethical for TOF to announce to the public a nebulous potential all day closure for the Friday before Labor Day 2020 (September 4th, 2020 as pictured below) and to then subsequently very late in the day post “SPECIAL MEETING” / “BUDGET WORKSHOP” notices for the Tuesday evening immediately following this 3 day National Holiday? Were these actions purposely taken to thwart Fromberg’s citizens the ability to plan for, and attend a vital “BUDGET WORKSHOP” meeting? The very first of any such “BUDGET” meetings whatsoever to be held for Fromberg’s Fiscal Year 2020-2021, which has an immediate final deadline of 10.1.2020?

Obviously deceptive posting notice procedures. It would not surprise me that such noticing procedures will eventually be determined to be illegal. Either Fromberg Town Hall is up to some nefarious activity or the staff and their administrative oversight need to be immediately relieved from their duties.
