Isn’t it Customary to “APPROVE AND ADOPT THE FISCAL YEAR BUDGET 2020-2021” ie “RESOLUTION NO. 502” Prior

“TO SET”(ting) “THE MILL LEVY FOR FISCAL YEAR BUDGET 2020-2021” ie “RESOLUTION #501”? How could any mills be set for any undetermined additional amount needed to “balance” the unapproved FY 2020-2021 budget? The very same Budget not one taxpayer nor resident, had been allowed to comment upon? Yay or Nay? Doesn’t this constitute Taxation Without Representation? Doesn’t this violate our Constitution Rights?

Obviously not, according to Fromberg Montana’s Town Council. In accordance with the following, Fromberg Town Council first …”SET THE MILL LEVY…” ie “RESOLUTION #501

and then they “…APPROVE AND ADOPT…BUDGET” ie “RESOLUTION NO. 502“.

Why would anyone do that you ask? Was it done to cover the fact that RESOLUTION NO. 501 had been supposedly “DULY passed and adopted by the Fromberg Town Council this 24th day of September 2020…”? When in fact, no such meeting on that day was ever duly posted, let alone held at Town Hall? (Photographic documentation available upon request.) And subseqently signed off on by Mayor Shirley Miller, attested to by Clerk/Treasurer Jann Christman and finally proven to be in the possession of the Carbon County Assessor’s office/DOR no later than October 6, 2020?
