With the current uptick in COVID-19 cases, why is the President of the Town Council, not wearing one? Isn’t this in violation of Carbon County Public Health Officer Bill George’s county wide edict? Mr. Nottingham took an oath of office as a council person. As such, he has a duty to protect the health and safety of those he serves. Although it’s apparent, he chooses not to, by blatantly ignoring the Montana State mask mandate. The supposed excuse of “I can’t talk or breathe while wearing a mask” is absolutely a farce. Can you imagine if medical institutions allowed the same stupidity that spews out of City Hall? FOR CRYING OUT LOUD GROW UP! Feed your BS to someone who is interested in eating BS, aka Mayor Miller. The rest of us are not that stupid! No citizen should potentially have their health jeopardized due to a lack of respect shown by the president of the Fromberg town council!
Lead by example! The problem is, several at City Hall are incapable of providing a goodexample. Looks like Mayor Miller’s replacement took lessons from her!
Nottingham! I’m sick of your smarmy ” thank you for your comment” line. Give us a break! Do ya think we’re stupid? When you utter those words you reek of contempt. Its like patting a 4 year old on the head and saying, ‘run along now’. If you can’t do any better than that. If you can even be sincere and listen to legitimate complaints people have, SHUT UP!#%& Better yet. Wear your mask so we don’t have listen to you. If the council elects you acting mayor your administration will be Miller’s Follies part two. And stop fawning over whoever the girl is in the front row. Its way obvious. Can’t we get some normal council people?
As of today, Carbon County has had 6 Covid-19 deaths. Apparently, Mr. Nottingham feels it’s fine to play Russian Roulette with citizens lives by choosing not to wear his mask at a public town hall meeting! I’m sure there were several spectators in that audience who are immunocompromised,
and Mr. Nottingham felt it was his right to further endanger those individuals health and well being.
The individual who pointed out the lack of mask usage may have been intoxicated, but apparently he had more working brain cells than those sitting at the the council table!
What about social distancing???? Couldn’t town meetings be held at school gym?? Chairs could be spaced and people protected. At least thru this pandemic? Mayor has been in city hall frequently without a mask. They are violating mandated requirements by not wearing masks and cramming everyone into that little council room. Does that seem very smart..? Everyone in the country who can, is working from home virtually!!! Maybe the town should hire an audio video tech, like we had in junior high as students. It seems like a no-brainer to take serious steps to protect the public, but obviously our so called leaders at city hall don’t feel our health is importan! When this covid runs rampant thru Fromberg, as it is all over the country, saying I told you so won’t help the sick or dead. GET SERIOUS NOW! I AM SHOCKED AT THE ignorance I see every day at town hall!
