Hold up there a little minute! Lacey seems like a nice girl. But her hiring process for her lawn mowing job was not transparent. Happened around June 2020. Check for details on advocacy site. And so what? Now she’s being groomed by the Town clerk to be the next town clerk? She’s training with the clerk who is utterly incompetent? That gives Lacey an unfair advantage for the interview process. Especially with black mountain software and that’s not fair. Again. Nothing personal to Lacey, but to save psyroll $ she should have been laid off, as we have had no snow to speak off. She could come in a couple days for the monthly meter read but that should be it! Town hall already tried the poor girl attitude which is why jann got the job. We’ve paid dearly for that mistake!@#$@
Let’s start with a level playing field in the next clerk hiring process. The Council never voted publicly on Jann’s resignation, they didn’t vote to (pay or no pay) Lacey to train in the clerk’s office. This is just wrong. More manipulation on the part of whatever Shirley Miller’s current unknown status is. The clerk’s is a huge cog in Town of Fromberg’s wheel. We need a competent clerk thru a fair across the board hiring process. No shoe in candidates! Bring this up at tonites meeting. PLESSE!

You put down proactive town folk who seek positive change and ask our leaders to act responsible, be transparent and follow the law.
