3. Thank You, Mr Stapleton! The Mayor is incapable of answering a question without implying false facts from the sounds of it.

   • At least one council member is willing to push back a little. It’s a nice change. Thankyou Mr. Stapelton.

4. The Mayor seems quick to blame her dilemmas on the past administration’s and others. Did she not sit on the council before being Mayor? So, why does she act as if none of these problems are her doing? Books are not reconciled since 2018? As Mayor, it took an audit company to inform you of that? Really, how stupid is that? We hired Kristen Sweet to come in and reconcile the records for a number of years before that and train Jann on Black Mountain. Along with showing Jann how to update the town’s Website. Neither task has been performed since Kristen last did them herself! Miller, no wonder Kristen didn’t want to come back to bail you out AGAIN. Nope. You had to hire the clerk from Joliet this year. Wake up. Smell the coffee. Jann can’t do her job. Yet instead of terminating her for being unable to perform her duties,, after 2 plus years of training…You and the Council chose to give Jann a $2.50 an hour wage increase! “Damn mean people”. Miller says, “how dare they complain”! I don’t think so! If you plan on Jann training the new supposed fair hire, plan on more of the same incompetent actions! The next hiring should be transparent, and not just another shoo-in pick influenced by the mayor over her merry band of boys…
