Per the following You.Tube link: https://youtu.be/kh14gN0SOiE, Clerk Riddle assured TOF council that last year’s budget, along with this year’s budget would be completed before TOF’s 10.9.2023 Regularly Scheduled Town Council Meeting. Today’s date is October 19, 2023, and there has been no mention whatsoever of either a 2023 Preliminary Budget Hearing, nor a 2023 Final Budget Hearing, whereby the Public would be afforded any input whatsoever into TOF’s 2023 budgeting process.
Additionally, no mention has been made with regard to the completion and subsequent submission to the State of Montana, of TOF’s 2022 budget. Certainly, Fromberg citizens and taxpayers deserve better financial information from their elected representatives!
Timetables are not something Fromberg Town Hall finds important or recognizes. It’s funny how Clerk Riddle Bragged About Firing an employee of 3 weeks because of unmet timelines. One more item, Clerk Riddle doesn’t understand the right to privacy. Yet, she tells everyone how she didn’t get the proper training. She’s new, she’s pregnant, she has a new baby and whatever excuse she needs. I would call it discrimination.
Discrimination against fathers who don’t get maternity leave. Oh that’s right! Other government offices call any such leave FAMILY LEAVE! And we’re paying for it on our dime! Clerky hasn’t accrued enuf sick or vaca time in her time here for her to get anywhere near 8 weeks of “MATERNITY LEAVE”. Family leave is mandatory, but UNPAID unless you’ve got the hours banked to cover through your benefit program. This Town can’t afford Harley. She’s making so many mistakes, it’s costing us taxpayers out the wazzoo. Did ya get your latest property tax bill yet? Are we getting taken to the cleaners or what? Look at the crappy service we receive for our hard earned tax dollars WHEN THE BUDGET HAS NOT EVEN BEEN PUT BEFORE WE THE PEOPLE!!@
