Math Matters…

As evidenced by TOF’s “Payroll Summary For Payrolls from 11/01/23 to 11/30/23”, “REG HOURS (Regular Time)” was “554.25”. (pictured below):

tfa surmises TOF regular employee work weeks to be those containing 40 work hours per week, as a work year generally consists of 2080 work hours. TOF has 2 fulltime employees, which given an average work week, could be construed as 160 work hours per month, per employee. 160 x 2 = 320 ie: 2 employees. Why then, is 554.25 ÷ 160 (per average employee 40 hour work week) = 3.4640625?

Nearly enough for 3.5 fulltime employees (gross wage amount of 10,710.00)? Granted, TOF supposedly employs 1 part time Public Works Department employee, however the numbers above certainly are inconsistent with simply 1 part time employee. Could Town of Bridger Clerk Sweet and former TOF Clerk Breding be job-sharing one full time position? If so, no mention of any such potential job-sharing situation was ever listed on any TOF Agenda, nor was it ever mentioned in any TOF Public Meeting. tfa notes that no mention of Sweet nor Breding is listed on the TOF “Claims by Vendor Report For the Accounting Period: 11/23” whereas, “297 Dennis Prewitt CL 4495 11/20/23 22900 120.00” is indeed listed. Said document is shown below.

tfa further notes only one vague reference to “Contact Labor” as shown on TOF’s “Statement of Expenditure – Budget vs. Actual Report For Accounting Period: 12/23”. Under “410400 Financial Administration  111 Contact Labor 0.00   700.00   00.0   0.00.  -700.00.  ***  %”  Specificity does indeed matter.

Could this small financial amount be attributed to the entire compensation paid for the untold hours of work that both Clerk Sweet and former Clerk Breding have put forth during the month of November 2023? This document is also presented below.

tfa suggests a call to action, requesting TOF to provide individual payroll information on each employee, of coursel with all social security numbers and other identifying information redacted.

It all boils down to this: Our Tax Dollars, Our Constitutional Rules. Can Fromberg residents continue to fund possible financial fraud and corruption, regardless who commits it?  It’s time to demand Accountability and Transparency. These are rights given us under the United States Constitution!

The following photographic shows the TOF Agenda where said claims were approved unanimously by TOF Council under “APPROVE PAYROLL SUMMARY ● 2023-11”.

The following is a tfa YouTube video link, where TOF Council unanimously approves said expenditures, without one question being asked.  This particular discussion begins at three minute. zero second mark: https://youtu.be/CmsTReTDJww
