2 Sister Cities Address HB 355 with Startlingly Different Approaches…

tfa’s position is that the Town of Bridger’s approach is much more transparent, and we further note that they actually encourage their entire citizenry to comment on the use of funds allowed under HB 355.

TOF’s HB 355 process includes a non-specific agenda item during their 2.12.2024 regularly scheduled town council meeting, per the following:

Whereas, the Town of Bridger, MT advertises twice for a Public Hearing in our local paper of record: The Carbon County News, as follows:

  1. There’s NEVER any accountability in this town!@#$%. The system failed. The this failed. The that failed. Give me a break! @#$%. This is operator error, either on the pwd using the system, or on the two clerks who haven’t a clue. And Breding’s fixing the errors? She misplaced the 100K from DES, she failed to reconcile bank statements during her 2 years there and she failed to submit the 2022 budget to the state!#$$%. Sure. I’m not real confident of her fixing ANYTHING! And the worst operater of bunch is the lame dude who sits at the center of the table who uses no oversight ever, and has fewer brains that a donut if that’s possible
